12/27/2017 0 Comments merry christmasHow did Christmas come and go so fast? I feel like I was so excited for it this year and I blinked and the day was over!
It was a great day. My family slept in, opened presents, ate breakfast and then we went over to my aunts. I got a ton of great stuff from a stuffed octopus that I have named Ottie (I will always be a 5 year old at heart) to slippers that I have only taken off when I am forced to leave the house. I ate way too much food and ended the night watching Love Actually while wearing this year Christmas pajamas for the second night in a row. I hope everyone had a great day with their families and are recovering and excited for the New Year!

12/13/2017 0 Comments a day in the cityFriday night I drove down to CT to spend the weekend with my friend Sam. Friday night we just hung in and I got to meet her dog Wiley I brought him that avocado toy. Bright and early Saturday morning we headed into the city. The forecast called for snow all day and it was also Santacon. We prepared ourselves for the weather and the crowds. For some reason even though we knew it was going to snow all day we both did our hair (I curled mine she straightened hers). It started snowing while we were on the train into New York. We braved the snow and saw the tree in Rockefeller center, Times Square, Oculus, and the Twin Towers Memorial. We were going to go to the Brooklyn Bridge but by that time it was getting dark and our shoes were wet. We took the train back toward Times Square and walked over to Bryant Park and the New York City Library where the lions were decorated with Christmas wreaths!
